Stardale Women’s Group presents Reconnection, Resiliency and Reconciliation Community Film Screening and Drumming Event at Riverside School in Bridgeland. Join Elder Wanda First Rider to learn about the importance of the renaming of Riverside school in our efforts for Truth and Reconciliation. This will be followed by a viewing of the acclaimed film Shadows in Time produced by Stardale Women's Group. This film focuses on the racism indigenous girls experience and their enduring resiliency. Panel discussion with the girls, drumming and snacks to follow.
