Beginner sewing skills and up
Tickets are available on Eventbrite by donation starting at $1 (see below). Donations go to Sparrow Arts Society, a not-for-profit organization, which will go towards more workshops by the wasakamapiwak collective. Learn how to construct appliqués for any/all of your sewing projects, guided by Faith Starlight. Faith is part of the Wasakamapiwak collective of 11 Indigenous artists living and working in Treaty 7 territory.

Faith Starlight is a Cree and Stoney Nakoda designer and artist, from Whitefish lake Atikameg, who specializes in Indigenous cultural wears. Contemporary and traditional, wearable and Indigenous fashionable. All her work is an expression of color and designs, "life is a powwow, so make a grand entry".
