During this 2-hour long workshop participants will be guided in creating their own robot creation using wood and found objects. Participants will draw inspiration from the book, Bolts, written and illustrated by Jennifer Dale Stables (JennyDaleDesigns.com). Bolts is a story about a boy’s favourite toy– a little robot, that gets lost during a storm. As time passes the little robot learns how to find joy in helping others and appreciating the beauty that surrounds him. Jennifer will begin the workshop by reading Bolts and sharing examples of her own robot sculptures. Then participants will be lead in creating their own robot creations.
