Taught by artist-in-residence David Christensen

In this one-day introductory workshop, you’ll learn to create and use carbon tissues, explore UV exposure techniques, and develop your own monochrome prints—all while navigating safety and troubleshooting common issues. Whether you're working with digital or in-camera negatives, you'll leave with the foundational skills and confidence to develop and start your own carbon printing. By the end of the day, you'll not only produce two beautiful carbon prints but also gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and history of this amazing process. Please note that creating negatives, whether in camera or digital, will not be covered in this workshop.
