This is a night of spoken word performances. Poets and storytellers are brought together by the Anastomosis Art Residency at Sparrow Artspace.  With special guest, Calgary’s Poet Laureate, Wakefield Brewster!

It’s hard to open up - to be gentle and soft and loving. To come fully, as yourself, to stand in your truth. Our futures depend on our relationships with everything. How do we love? How do we make connection? How do we show up for each other? How do we show up for the water, the land, each other, our plant and animal relatives? We must imagine and dream of a future where we care for each other and everything around us. We must imagine a future of love.
