Grief and Loss are universal experiences that are often not talked about. Now more than ever, it is important to acknowledge the great loss we have experienced either personally or as a collective due to the ongoing pandemic. In this expressive arts workshop, participants will be invited to identify and acknowledge their loss through creative writing and visual art activities in hopes of creating space for healing.
Kelsey Beier is an educator, writer, and Expressive Arts facilitator. Whether in her job as an elementary school teacher or when writing original songs, poems, or stories, Kelsey’s love for connection through words and stories transcends through many genres in her life. She is the author of a self-published novella entitled Thunderchild, and she is currently working on a self-published children’s book that aims to help youth encounter grief or significant loss in their life.
